Bornean Crested Firebacks
The male Bornean Crested Fireback pheasant is a splendid looking bird. It has a mainly blue/black body with the metallic sheen seen in many of the pheasants. The face has bright blue wattles which are expanded to twice the size when the bird is displaying. The hen also has a blue face. Bornean's has a brown body and legs are grayish in colour.
Bornean Crested Fireback are great birds to watch as they are often displaying and will spend much of their time putting on a good show for everyone see.

Spiders of Kuching
Spiders are arthropods that have eight legs. Its really exiting to watch and click this extraordinarily pretty creatures. Sama Jaya Park is a good place for spider hunting and macro photography. Most of the spiders usually have eight eyes (some have six or fewer).

Sama Jaya Nature Reserve (Stutong Park) - Macro Shooting
Sama Jaya Forest Reserve is situated in Tabuan Jaya.It is located in Kuching city. Sama Jaya is a rich reservoir of indigenous wildlife. The wide variety of small mammals, reptiles and amphibians found here include 2 squirrel species, a shrew, 3 rat species, fruit bats, tarsiers, 9 frog species, 3 lizard species, a tortoise, wild monkey and 20 bird species.
It is one of the best place in Kuching to go for jogging or walking. You can also see lot of photographers trying some macro shootouts. I tried my first macro shoot here and you can see the output.
