Beijing - Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China starts from Shanhaiguan Pass, a seaport along the coast of Bohai Bay in the east, to Jiayuguan Pass in Gansu Province in the west, covering 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China. Its around 6400Km Long. It made me wonder why did they build a such a long wall? The chinese emperor wanted to protect their lands from the invading northern mongolians and huns.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park

Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park consists of a number of islands in the South China Sea off the coast of Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah. One of most beutiful islands I have ever visited. The snorkling was great at Manukan.

Mount Kinabalu

Mount Kinabalu is the highest peak in Borneo, standing at 4095.2 Meters at its highest peak, called Low's Peak, and the walk up to it along the south side is 8.7km. Do to some reason or other me and my wife decided to climb mt Kinabalu. The climb starts at the Kinabalu park headquarters at 1,585 m (5,200 feet). We some how reached Laban Rata Resthouse which is at 3,270 m (10,728 ft).
